Medical Assistant Looking to gain clinical hours before medical school or another healthcare program? This is a great opportunity to work directly with physicians, gain hands-on patient experience, and develop medical scribing skills in a specialty clinic. Responsibilities Support patients from check-in through check-out Room patients, collect vitals, and gather medical histories Scribe during patient visits and document provider notes Communicate patient updates to physicians Assist with orders, referrals, and follow-up care Qualifications Bachelor's degree required (Biology, Pre-Med, Integrative Physiology, or related field preferred) Strong interest in a future healthcare career Strong communication skills and attention to detail Preferred Experience Medical Assistant or Medical Scribe experience Epic EMR experience Medical terminology knowledge Customer service or patient-facing experience What's Offered Valuable clinical, scribing, and patient-facing hours Employer-paid CCMA certification with a pay increase upon completion Mentorship from experienced physicians Great networking and growth opportunities within healthcare Approximately 35-40 hours per week with some flexibility for school applications and interviews Location: Golden/Lakewood and Westminster.
Candidates must be comfortable floating between clinic locations as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakewood, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
