About the Opportunity A well-established, member-focused financial institution is seeking a Member Services Representative to join its Ann Arbor branch. Responsibilities Open, close, and maintain member accounts. Assist members with a variety of financial products and services. Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, and online channels. Process account maintenance requests, including address changes, stop payments, wire transfers, travel notices, and check orders. Assist with Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs). Provide administrative support to the loan processing team.
Prepare and distribute loan packages and related documentation. Maintain accurate records and filing systems. Communicate professionally with members and internal departments. Deliver exceptional service while building positive member relationships. Qualifications Required: Strong customer service and communication skills. Experience opening and closing accounts or handling financial transactions.
Comfortable assisting members over the phone and in person. Friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor. Ability to handle challenging situations with confidence and professionalism. Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative. Training & Onboarding Hands-on, branch-based training program. Initial onboarding includes paperwork, shadowing, and guided learning. Ongoing support from leadership and experienced team members.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36270.00 - $46345.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
