Field Sales Specialist Must be in or close to Grand Forks, ND | Field-Based | Base Pay + Commission About the Role We are seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Field Sales Specialist to help grow a network of local business partners across North Dakota. This role combines business development, community outreach, and relationship management, allowing you to work directly with business owners while building a strong pipeline of opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Visit prospective businesses and introduce partnership opportunities. Build relationships with local business owners, community organizations, and referral partners. Qualify interested businesses and support the onboarding process. Track prospect activity, follow-ups, and pipeline updates in Salesforce. Attend networking events and community outreach initiatives. Maintain accurate records and provide excellent customer support.
Drive engagement and territory growth through proactive outreach. Qualifications 1+ year of experience in sales, customer service, recruiting, account management, or a related field. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the territory. Preferred Qualifications Experience in field sales, outside sales, or business development. Community outreach or networking experience. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. Candidates may be based in Fargo or Grand Forks and should expect to spend approximately four days per week in the field meeting with local businesses and building relationships. One day each week is typically dedicated to administrative tasks, including Salesforce updates, reporting, and territory planning. This position offers a high level of autonomy and the opportunity to make a direct impact within the community.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Grafton, ND. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
