Packager $18/hr - 1st Shift Job Description This role focuses on inspecting, labeling, and packaging pharmaceutical products on a production line in a fast-paced, FDA-regulated environment. You will help ensure that each product is accurately packed, correctly labeled, and prepared for shipment while following strict quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Inspect pharmaceutical products visually to ensure they meet quality standards and are free of defects.
Perform accurate packaging of products according to detailed packing instructions and standard operating procedures. Finalize and verify labeling of shipping details to ensure correct information on each package. Work on a production line to support continuous and efficient packaging operations. Use a computer to complete training modules, document work, and access production or shipping information.
Collaborate closely with operators and team members to meet production goals and quality expectations. Lift and move materials and product containers weighing between 5 and 40 pounds throughout the shift. Maintain productivity and attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and FDA regulations when handling products and completing documentation.
Support cleanliness and organization in the work area to maintain a cleanroom-style, compliant environment. Confirm that the correct product is included in each package and that shipping details are accurate before finalizing orders. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will work on 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in a clean, temperature-controlled, FDA-regulated manufacturing facility. The environment is focused on producing IV bags and intravenous drugs, with operations spread across two floors and plans to add additional lines and shifts, offering growth and long-term stability. The packaging team is currently small, providing an opportunity to join at the front end of expansion and contribute to building processes and best practices.
You will use production line equipment, computers for training and documentation, and follow cleanroom-style standards to maintain a high level of cleanliness and compliance.
