Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description Join a fast-paced manufacturing operation as a General Production Worker, Machine Operator, or Warehouse Team Member. In these roles, you support daily production activities, operate equipment, and handle materials to help keep operations running smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Opportunities are available across multiple shifts, and training is provided for core tasks and equipment use.
Responsibilities Assist with daily production and warehouse tasks to ensure consistent workflow and on-time completion of orders. Operate basic equipment or machines safely and efficiently, with training provided for specific tools and machinery. Load, unload, move, and organize materials and finished products within the production or warehouse areas. Perform packaging, assembly, and general production duties as assigned, following established processes and standards.
Essential Skills Ability to perform general production, machine operation, and warehouse tasks in a manufacturing environment. Capability to stand, walk, lift, and move materials throughout the shift as part of daily job duties. Willingness to learn new tasks, follow instructions, and adhere to safety and quality guidelines. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with general labor, assembly, or general production work.
Familiarity with machine operation or machine operating in a manufacturing environment. Background in packaging, packing, and inspection of parts or finished products. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a manufacturing facility where most positions work indoors in a production or warehouse setting.
The environment is active and hands-on, with regular use of equipment, machines, hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools. Some limited opportunities may be available for hybrid indoor/outdoor roles, which involve both inside facility work and tasks performed outdoors. Work is organized by shift, with 1st and 2nd shift opportunities available and limited 3rd shift positions. Team members should expect to be on their feet for much of the shift, moving materials and working around machinery in a structured, safety-focused environment.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Crosse, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
