Responsibilities include: Coordinating prescription refills and medication shipments with patients and caregivers Delivering exceptional customer service and building trusted patient relationships Supporting medication adherence and helping patients stay on therapy Processing new prescription orders and refill requests Verifying insurance coverage, benefits, and payment options Documenting patient interactions and treatment-related updates Collaborating with pharmacists, nurses, providers, and physician offices Tracking shipments, deliveries, and order status updates Maintaining accurate patient and prescription records Assisting with medication fulfillment and pharmacy operations Utilizing pharmacy software systems and Microsoft Excel to support workflows and reporting Ensuring patients receive medications and supplies accurately and efficiently What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience High School Diploma or GED Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Specialty pharmacy experience Prior authorization knowledge Patient access, reimbursement, or benefits investigation experience Healthcare call center experience Experience using pharmacy systems or healthcare technology platforms Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply Schedule & Work Environment Training Period Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM Onsite in the Northwest Chicago suburbs After Training Monday-Friday Schedules between: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM Hybrid Schedule 2 days onsite 3 days remote Compensation Pay Rate: $23-$25/hr Why Join Us?
