Phlebotomist II Tulsa, OK Location: Tulsa, OK Company Vehicle Provided for Daily Travel Schedule: Monday-Friday | 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM Job Description We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist II to join a growing healthcare team serving patients throughout the Tulsa area. This position is primarily responsible for performing blood draws and specimen collection at local nursing and long-term care facilities.
The selected candidate will report to a Tulsa-based laboratory location, utilize a company-provided vehicle to travel to assigned facilities, perform patient collections, and return specimens to the laboratory for processing. This role offers the opportunity to work independently while providing exceptional patient care in a professional healthcare environment. Job Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and specimen collection on patients, primarily within nursing home and long-term care settings Travel daily to assigned facilities using a company-provided vehicle Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing Ensure specimen integrity and compliance with collection procedures Perform specimen centrifugation and processing as required Update patient information and maintain accurate documentation Complete maintenance and decontamination procedures according to laboratory standards Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements Provide excellent customer service and patient interaction during collections Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely specimen delivery and processing Qualifications Previous phlebotomy experience Experience performing venipuncture and specimen collection High School Diploma or GED Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Comfortable working with geriatric patients Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to meet color vision requirements After applying please reach out to me at 405/254/2252 Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
