Job Title: Powder Coat Painter Job Description As a Powder Coat Painter, you will prepare surfaces for coating using techniques such as sandblasting, degreasing, and solvent cleaning. You will apply powder coatings with precision using spray guns and monitor oven temperatures, adjusting curing processes to achieve optimal results. Inspect finished products to ensure they adhere to quality standards, mix powder coats and paints, and perform daily maintenance on spray equipment.
Responsibilities Prepare surfaces using sandblasting, degreasing, and solvent cleaning techniques. Apply powder coatings evenly across surfaces using spray guns. Monitor oven temperatures and curing times to ensure coatings bond properly. Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet customer specifications. Mix powder coats and paints as needed. Perform daily maintenance on spray equipment.
Essential Skills Proficiency in powder coating and painting techniques. Experience with industrial painting and spray gun operation. Ability to mix powder coats and paints accurately. Skill in sanding, paint prep, and using a paint booth. Knowledge of spray painting and sandblasting. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with production processes and blueprint reading. Capability in coating and using paint sprayers.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
