The Process Trainer is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and delivering on-the-job training for process operators.
*Provides detailed instruction by use of lecture, video, and practical (on the job) training in the safe use of the equipment. Monitors and evaluates progress made of the new Line Operator Trainees. Implements training of new or modified procedures in Production Department. Ensures uniform application of policy and procedures on all four (4) shifts. Makes recommendations and updates concerning qualification of Operator Trainees to supervisors.
*Responsible for creating Procedures and check sheets that will be used by the operators on a day-to-day basis. Responsible for the calibration of line thermometers and tracking of calibrations of the analytical equipment out on the floor, making adjustments to equipment as needed. Ordering tools and supplies as needed, keeping up and ensuring communication between all shifts, operators and supervisors.
What you’ll be doing. Conduct analysis to identify training needs of process operators Design course, supportive, and performance objectives to meet training needs Develop teaching methods to deliver effective training Implement and deliver training Evaluate training for effectiveness and redesign, develop, and implement as needed Document and record training activities Communicate training needs and objectives to appropriate department managers Attend meetings and seminars to obtain information for use in training programs Attend all other meetings and training as required by company Participate in and cooperate with the company’s accident prevention program and all safety rules and regulations Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of two to four years of work-related skill, knowledge, experience, on-the-job training, or vocational training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
