Job Title: Production Technician I Job Description The Production Technician I works in a clean room manufacturing environment assembling medical devices using hand tools, basic equipment, and manual assembly techniques. This role is responsible for following detailed work instructions, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring products are assembled accurately and efficiently. Successful candidates are mechanically inclined, work well with their hands, and have strong attention to detail.
Previous medical device experience is not required; however, the ability to follow written instructions, learn new processes, and perform repetitive tasks with precision is essential. Responsibilities Assemble medical devices using hand tools, fixtures, and basic manufacturing equipment. Follow written work instructions, procedures, and quality standards. Perform work in a clean room environment while adhering to safety and company guidelines.
Inspect products for quality and report any issues or defects. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Communicate production concerns, equipment issues, or quality observations to supervisors. Meet daily production goals while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Essential Skills Ability to work at a fast manufacturing pace. Ability to handle small components with hands and fingers.
Ability to inspect small parts by eye, corrective lens if needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications Physical copy of high school Diploma or GED required. Capability to stand for 12 hours. Work Environment The role is on the 4th Shift (5:23pm-5:30am), Thursday-Saturday, alternating Wednesdays every other week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $19.75/hr.
