Job Title: Production Associate Job Description Join a dynamic team dedicated to designing and manufacturing advanced fuel systems. As a Production Associate, you will be instrumental in the production of CNG fuel storage systems for trucks and big rigs, ensuring high-quality standards and timely delivery. Responsibilities Accurately interpret and prepare detailed work instructions and procedures.
Operate assembly tools, fixtures, and specialized equipment with proficiency. Demonstrate knowledge of mechanical assembly processes and best practices. Assist with filament winding operations, including resin application and tool maintenance. Support rotomolding processes through material preparation and boss recovery tasks. Perform tank labeling and foam dome installation with precision and care.
Assemble and package products to meet or exceed quality standards and delivery timelines. Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items. Clean and lubricate equipment. Load and provide raw materials such as resin and paxon. Support filament winding tasks such as resin squeezing, tool cleaning, and setting up floor mats. Dispose of all scrap resin, fiber, and cardboards. Maintain housekeeping and 5S practices.
Work across different stations, including Rotomold Operator, Trailer Assembler, Tube Bending, and Adapter/Volumetric/EOL Domes/Labels. Essential Skills Minimum 1.5 years of production or machine operation experience. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Mechanically inclined with experience in machine operation and production. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with visual instruction sheets or blueprints is a plus.
Knowledge of resin, epoxy, composite materials, fiberglass, and carbon fiber. Experience with torque wrenches is advantageous. Why Work Here? Be prepared for mandatory overtime, with shifts running from 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM, potentially extending to 12-hour days including Saturdays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Forest, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
