Production Associate (Immediate Hiring) Job Description We are hiring Production Associates to support daily operations in a food manufacturing environment. This position involves working on production lines performing boxing, stacking, loading, unloading, and palletizing food products. Associates will handle products weighing 15-20 pounds and assist with feeding materials into production equipment.
Responsibilities Operate on production lines, including boxing and stacking products Load and unload products into machines for processing Palletize products and prepare them for distribution Open boxes containing empty glass bottles and feed them into production equipment Wrap pallets for shipment Maintain a clean work area throughout the shift Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and established safety procedures Required Qualifications Experience in production, warehouse, or general labor environments Ability to lift 15-20 pounds regularly throughout the shift Ability to stand for 10-12 hour shifts Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment Ability to work as part of a team Commitment to following GMP standards Preferred Qualifications Experience operating pallet jacks Experience with packaging and palletizing Comfortable working in a food production environment with strong odors, including garlic, jalapeños, and salsa Work Environment This position is located in a food manufacturing facility.
Employees are required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including gloves, hairnets, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and company-provided shirts. The environment may include varying temperatures and strong food-related odors. Associates will spend the majority of the shift standing and working on the production floor. Facility amenities include employee lockers and a break room equipped with microwaves and vending machines.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hurlock, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
