Job Title: Production Helper Job Description Join a dynamic manufacturing team in Greenfield as a Production Helper on the 1st shift. This role plays a crucial part in the production process, ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks. Responsibilities Assist operators by manually moving materials, including stacking, loading, unloading, and staging. Conduct visual inspections of in-process materials to ensure quality standards are met.
Wrap and unwrap products according to production requirements. Read and adhere to production work orders to maintain workflow accuracy. Place tags and labels on finished products for proper identification. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work station to ensure a safe working environment. Essential Skills Experience in production and manufacturing settings. Ability to perform repetitive lifting and manual labor tasks.
Proficiency in material handling and using hand tools. Strong attention to detail for conducting visual inspections. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with general labor and forklift operation is advantageous. Familiarity with packaging and construction tasks is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility equipped with overhead cranes and industrial machinery. Employees work on the 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with current overtime extending until 4:00 PM. Saturday shifts are voluntary unless mandated due to insufficient volunteers, with notice given by Wednesday each week.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenfield, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
