Job Description Join a growing EPCM firm where you'll help deliver critical natural gas infrastructure projects across North America. As a Project Engineer , you'll combine hands-on engineering with project leadership, supporting the design and execution of transmission pipelines, compressor stations, and metering facilities. You'll own project deliverables, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, interact with clients, and help drive projects from concept through completion while building your technical and project management expertise.
Hybrid schedule available. Candidates with 6+ years of relevant industry experience may be eligible for a fully remote work arrangement. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate engineering projects from kickoff through delivery. Track schedules, budgets, risks, action items, and project deliverables. Facilitate client and internal meetings and document key decisions. Prepare project status reports and communicate project progress.
Perform basic mechanical and pipeline engineering calculations. Review engineering drawings, designs, and technical documents for quality and accuracy. Prepare specifications, reports, RFIs, and engineering documentation. Support procurement activities and equipment selection. Assist with mitigation plans for project risks and schedule challenges. Contribute technical input for proposals and project development efforts.
Manage multiple projects while balancing engineering and project management responsibilities. Essential Skills B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (BSME). 3+ years of project engineering or design engineering experience in the natural gas industry. Experience with transmission pipeline projects; facilities experience is a plus. Knowledge of natural gas systems, pipelines, and compressor/metering stations.
Ability to perform engineering calculations and review technical documents. Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities. Strong communication, organization, and client-facing skills. Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites. Additional Skills & Qualifications PMP, EIT, or PE certification preferred. Consulting engineering experience is highly valued. Experience with pipeline, compressor station, and metering facility design.
Familiarity with SolidWorks, Inventor, CADWorx, Navisworks, and P&ID development. Background in EPCM project execution, engineering design, or project management. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment. The standard schedule is 3 days in-office and 2 days remote , with flexibility based on experience and location. Candidates with 6+ years of experience may be considered for a fully remote arrangement. Limited travel is required. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $53.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
