Senior Site Superintendent

Job Title: Site Superintendent Job Description The Site Superintendent is responsible for providing and being accountable for the planning, controlling, direction, and coordination of subcontractors and onsite forces. The role requires day-to-day leadership in managing the construction site and executing field operations to achieve the objectives of continued and sustainable growth. The successful candidate will ensure the construction site operates safely and consistently to meet project goals.

Responsibilities Provide safety leadership on site. Monitor safety performance of subcontractors and onsite forces. Plan, schedule, and control daily construction activities. Ensure projects are constructed in accordance with plans and specifications. Ensure quality of workmanship and building materials. Ensure sufficient manpower is provided to achieve safety, schedule, and quality objectives. Foster and maintain positive relations and communication with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors.

Essential Skills 10 years of experience as a superintendent in Wastewater or Heavy Civil environment (infrastructure, oil & gas). Trade experience in carpentry, mechanical, or electrical. P.Eng or college degree in construction management, civil, or mechanical engineering. Project experience over $30 million. Additional Skills & Qualifications PMP or Gold Seal certification is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Bluebeam.

The company has a solid track record of successful operations with projects in the Water & Wastewater Infrastructure and Industrial, Commercial & Institutional market segments. The work environment is supportive and committed to safely delivering high-value projects.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Mississauga, ON. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $72.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Mississauga,ON.
