Responsible for all reports and tracking of documents pertinent to transportation, monitoring scanned inventory, assign seals to trailers, maintain all shipping files, verifying inventory in freezers, and coolers to correct inventories. Join us in our Purpose and apply for an opportunity today!  Key Responsibilities Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area ensuring compliance with all policies, practices, and regulations. Maintains accurate and organized records, documentation, and logs including return authorizations, delivery notes, Export documents, Bill of Ladings, and other shipping documents. Prepares all special labels for customer orders.
Prepares reports and documentation for management, customer service, and other internal teams as needed. Assists brokers, drivers, and customers in getting accurate and appropriate paperwork for their orders (loads). Maintains dock schedules in relevant system (i.e., Lean Logistics) and interplant load schedule. Communicates regarding completed load and trailer requests with plant's dedicated carrier.
Processes a high volume of loads of daily inbound and outbound shipments and ensures orders are shipped in time to arrive by the requested delivery date. Checks drivers in and out as they arrive for appointments and track the times of appointments to avoid loading detention. Optimizes and reduces loading time through maintaining a log of inbound and outbound trailers for pre-loading, planning product staging for efficient loading, effectively communicating trailer needs and directing movement drop trailers.
Ensures loading accuracy by reviewing all delivery notes for special instructions and highlighting them for material handlers. Utilizes AS400, SAP, and CAT2 to acquire daily inbound/outbound shipment list, print pick lists, confirm and post orders, and determine order information such as carrier, ship date, pro numbers, etc. Works with the internal customers to document and track carrier issues. Identifies and communicates product demands and shortages to the inventory and operation teams.
