Job Title: Solderer Assembler Job Description This role focuses on the precise soldering and assembly of electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) that power a wide range of electronic devices. You ensure strong electrical connections, mechanical stability, and adherence to industry standards by following detailed assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics. Success in this position depends on exceptional attention to detail, the ability to work with small and delicate components, and a commitment to delivering high-quality assembled PCBs that meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities Perform accurate soldering of electronic components onto printed circuit boards using both through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT), following detailed work instructions, assembly drawings, and blueprints. Inspect solder joints and assembled PCBs for quality and compliance with industry standards using visual inspection and microscopic tools. Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot assembly defects or issues, and perform necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure product quality and reliability.

Handle electronic components and hand tools safely, following established safety protocols and proper electrostatic discharge (ESD) practices. Read and interpret electronic schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions to complete assembly tasks correctly and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area to support safety, quality, and productivity standards. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and support continuous improvement in assembly processes.

Lift and move materials and equipment, as needed, up to 30 pounds in support of the production workflow. Essential Skills Experience in PCB assembly and soldering techniques, including through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT). Proficiency in soldering and electronic assembly using hand tools and equipment appropriate for fine circuit work. Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, assembly drawings, and detailed work instructions.

Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise soldering and handling of small, delicate components. Ability to distinguish colors, fine circuit details, and tones for accurate component identification and inspection. Familiarity with safety protocols and proper handling of electronic components in a manufacturing environment. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as part of regular job duties.

Reliable transportation to consistently arrive on time for scheduled shifts. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent education. Certification in IPC-A-610 or IPC J-STD-001 standards for soldering and electronic assembly is a plus. Experience with surface-mount technology (SMT) processes and equipment. Comfort using hand tools and wiring tools in an electronics assembly setting.

Ability to work overtime when required to support production demands. Why Work Here? You join a professional manufacturing environment where quality, precision, and safety are highly valued. The role offers stable full-time hours, opportunities to apply and grow your technical assembly and soldering skills, and the chance to contribute directly to the reliability of advanced electronic products. You work in a structured setting that supports skill development, attention to detail, and pride in craftsmanship.

Work Environment You work primarily in a modern factory environment with controlled temperature, designed for comfort and consistent manufacturing conditions. The standard schedule is an 8-hour workday, 5 days per week, on first shift with start times of either 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with overtime available when required. The setting involves regular use of hand tools and electronic assembly equipment, careful handling of small components, and adherence to established safety and quality procedures.
