Subcontracts Administrator III ๐ End-to-End Subcontract Management | ๐ Aerospace & Defense Programs | ๐ Career Growth Join a high-performing team supporting complex aerospace and defense programs. This role offers the opportunity to own the full subcontract lifecycle, work closely with Engineering, Program Management, Finance, and Operations teams, and play a direct role in the success of mission-critical initiatives.
What You'll Do ๐น Manage cradle-to-grave subcontract activities, from supplier sourcing and RFP creation through negotiation, award, administration, and closeout ๐น Evaluate supplier proposals, conduct price analysis, and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms ๐น Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring performance, quality, and compliance ๐น Administer subcontract modifications, change orders, extensions, and related documentation ๐น Support procurement efforts across CPFF, FFP, and T&M contract types ๐น Collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, Finance, and Operations teams to support program objectives ๐น Ensure compliance with procurement procedures, FAR/DFARS requirements, and government contracting standards ๐น Utilize SAP, SharePoint, and Excel to manage subcontract activity, reporting, and documentation ๐น Support supplier audits, qualification activities, and continuous process improvement initiatives What We're Looking For โ Experience managing cradle-to-grave subcontracts or procurements โ Strong negotiation, supplier management, and price analysis experience โ Understanding of FAR/DFARS and government contracting requirements โ Experience evaluating supplier proposals and contract documentation โ Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills โ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment โ Desire to grow long-term within procurement, contracts, or supply chain management Preferred Qualifications โญ Aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or government contracting experience โญ SAP and SharePoint experience โญ Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and reporting analysis โญ Familiarity with CPFF, FFP, and T&M contract structures โญ Experience supporting supplier audits, DCMA interactions, or procurement compliance initiatives Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $110420.00 - $110420.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
