Job Title: Supply Chain Manager Job Description We are seeking a hands-on manufacturing supply chain leader who will be instrumental in driving inventory accuracy, material availability, warehouse performance, and shipping/receiving operations. This role requires substantial time on the production floor, ensuring ERP process discipline and supporting SAP S/4HANA transition efforts. Responsibilities Improve inventory accuracy and drive material flow improvements.
Lead warehouse, inventory, and shipping/receiving teams. Build accountability and operational discipline within the team. Partner directly with production leaders to ensure uninterrupted production and efficient material movement. Support the SAP S/4HANA transition and future-state supply chain transformation efforts. Essential Skills Experience in a manufacturing environment. Ownership of inventory management.
Proficiency with SAP and ERP process improvements. Ability to conduct root cause analysis and improve inventory accuracy. Hands-on leadership style in supply chain management. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong leadership presence in manufacturing environments. Effective communication with operations, engineering, quality, and procurement teams. Capability to drive accountability and process discipline.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in implementing process improvements tied to measurable KPIs. Comfortable leading organizational change and process transformation initiatives. Work Environment This role is based in a manufacturing facility with a significant plant-floor presence required. It is a high visibility role in a fast-paced operational environment with frequent interaction with production leadership.
The role includes inheriting approximately 15 employees across shipping, receiving, warehouse, and inventory teams. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of West Hartford, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
