Job Title: Pipe Welder $50/hr + $140 per diem (per days worked) Job Description We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder with five years of commercial or naval experience as a first-class welder. This role requires expertise in various welding techniques and the ability to work in demanding environments. Responsibilities Perform multi-pass, all position fillet and butt welds using the SMAW process. Fuse inserts and weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper nickel pipe using SMAW and GTAW processes.
Execute mirror welding using both SMAW and GTAW processes. Work in physically demanding environments such as shipboard, sub-assemblies, and staging. Ensure familiarity and compliance with OSHA regulations related to the shipbuilding industry. Utilize fillet gauges, butt gauges, and a six-inch scale accurately in your work. Essential Skills Five years of commercial or naval experience as a first-class Pipe Welder.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
