Job Title: Environmental Services Technician. Start Very Quickly! Job Description The Ultraviolet Environmental Services Technician is responsible for performing daily cleaning tasks in patient and resident rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, clinic areas, and other assigned areas. These tasks must be completed in accordance with the standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department and the facility and hospital standards and objectives.
The technician will operate the Xenex disinfection machine or similar equipment. Responsibilities Perform daily cleaning tasks in various hospital areas as assigned. Adhere to standard procedures and facility and hospital standards. Operate Xenex disinfection machine or similar equipment. Essential Skills Janitorial skills Customer service Housekeeping General maintenance Cleaning service Proficient in conversational English 6+ months of work experience 6+ months of customer service experience preferred Additional Skills & Qualifications Cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred Ability to greet customers and inquire about their stay and needs Why Work Here?
This is a contract-to-hire position with a reputable company that provides hospital services. Employees can expect benefits once they transition to direct hire status. Work Environment The position is based at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, which offers a climate-controlled, clean facility. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olathe, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
