Manufacturing Associate Job Description The Manufacturing Associate supports production of precision rubber components by trimming excess material, inspecting parts for defects, and performing basic molding and bonding tasks. This role involves working with small parts, applying glue using fine brushes, and operating machinery in a clean, safety-focused manufacturing environment on the 2nd shift. Responsibilities Trim excess rubber from parts to meet quality and specification standards.

Inspect parts carefully for defects, damage, or inconsistencies and report issues promptly. Paint grooves in parts with glue using small brushes to ensure accurate and consistent application. Perform molding tasks as directed, following established production procedures. Handle small parts efficiently while maintaining high levels of accuracy and cleanliness. Operate manufacturing machinery safely and in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and SOP guidelines at all times. Use hand tools and other basic equipment required for production and trimming tasks. Maintain an organized and clean work area to support a safe and efficient production flow. Stand and/or sit for extended periods while performing repetitive production tasks. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and quality targets.

Adhere to all safety rules and participate in maintaining a safe working environment. Essential Skills Approximately 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred, ideally in a production or general labor setting. Ability to work with small parts while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy. Experience using basic hand tools in a manufacturing or production environment. Capability to operate machinery safely and follow written and verbal instructions.

Strong focus on quality, with the ability to identify and report defects in parts. Physical ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time while performing repetitive tasks. Understanding of or willingness to learn Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in general production, general labor, or manufacturing is beneficial.

Comfort working in a large, open manufacturing setting with multiple production areas. Ability to work effectively on a 2nd shift schedule from mid-afternoon to late evening. Willingness to learn molding, bonding, and other production processes as needed. Reliability and consistency in meeting attendance and performance expectations. Why Work Here? The environment is described as very safe and clean, with established GMP and SOP practices guiding daily operations. Work involves standing or sitting for extended periods, handling small parts, using hand tools, and operating production machinery in a structured, well-organized setting.
