Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description This role involves performing a variety of warehouse and stockroom tasks, including managing inventory, preparing products for shipment, receiving and organizing incoming materials, and accurately maintaining records in an inventory and ERP system. You will work with a large automated inventory machine, pull and assemble parts for production, and support production teams by ensuring they receive the right parts on time.

Responsibilities Perform a wide range of warehouse tasks, including inventory management, order preparation, stocking, and general material handling. Prepare products and parts for shipment by checking order sheets, pulling correct items, and ensuring accuracy before dispatch. Scan incoming parts and materials using RF scanners to accurately record receipts and movements in the inventory system. Print labels for incoming and outgoing materials and ensure all items are properly tagged and identifiable.

Utilize the automated inventory system, described as a large vending machine, by entering bin numbers to retrieve or restock parts from designated drawers. Manually pull parts from the stockroom to meet daily parts requirements for production. Assemble parts into kit form according to daily production needs and deliver completed kits to the appropriate area on the production floor. Support lead production personnel by responding promptly to requests for parts and ensuring timely delivery to the production line.

Receive and identify incoming raw materials, finished goods, supplies, and equipment, verifying accuracy against requisitions or invoices. Count and sort incoming items to confirm quantities and specifications match purchase orders and shop orders. Enter accurate data into the ERP system for all received, stored, and issued materials, maintaining up-to-date inventory records. Store stock in the correct locations within the warehouse or stockroom, ensuring items are organized and easy to locate.

Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, including receipts, issues, returns, and adjustments. Assist with shipping activities, including staging orders, verifying contents, and preparing items for outbound shipment. Follow all warehouse safety procedures, including proper use of equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners, and adherence to required safety attire. Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse and stockroom environment.

Essential Skills At least 2 years of warehouse experience. At least 2 years of experience working with inventory systems. Experience with inventory control and order selection. Experience working with RF scanners for scanning and tracking inventory. Ability to accurately pull, pick, and stock parts and materials. Ability to use an ERP system to enter and maintain inventory data. Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes.

Ability to operate or learn to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting, sorting, and recording inventory. Ability to read and follow order sheets, bin numbers, and stock locations. Capability to support production teams by assembling and delivering parts and kits on time. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in a stockroom environment.

Good problem-solving skills to resolve inventory and order issues. Experience with warehouse stocking, picking, and shipping activities. Familiarity with using RF scanners and automated inventory systems. Comfort working with a large automated inventory machine or similar technology. Ability to work effectively across different shifts if needed. Strong organizational skills and the ability to keep accurate records.
