Job Title: Furniture Logistics Specialist Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Furniture Logistics Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing the movement of furniture items from inventory to shipment, ensuring each piece meets quality standards and is prepared for delivery. The position requires physical strength to lift up to 50 pounds and a keen eye for detail during visual inspections.
Responsibilities Pull furniture items from inventory and conduct visual inspections for defects. Set aside items requiring repairs and wrap defect-free items for shipment. Assist in staging items for loading onto trucks for shipment. Unload items from trucks upon their return to the warehouse. Prepare shipping labels and handle wrapped pallets. Essential Skills Experience in inventory management and material handling.
Proficiency in warehouse packing, order picking, shipping, and receiving. Ability to handle materials using a dolly. Experience with RF scanners. Additional Skills & Qualifications Clean driving record. Why Work Here? Work hours are Monday through Friday, with day shifts from 8am to 4:30pm and swing shifts from 2pm to 10:30pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Las Vegas, NV.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
