Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description Join our team as a Warehouse Worker, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring efficient order processing and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. We have multiple openings across various shifts, providing you with flexibility in your work schedule. Responsibilities Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to move materials, products, and pallets throughout the warehouse.
Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers. Receive, inspect, sort, and store incoming shipments. Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Verify inventory quantities and product information using warehouse management systems and shipping documents. Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Essential Skills Forklift operation, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
Forklift certification or ability to become certified upon hire. Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience. Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Basic math, reading, and communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Current forklift certification or ability to become certified upon hire. Experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
2+ years of sit-down forklift experience. Experience with RF scanners, barcode systems, or warehouse management software (WMS). Why Work Here? Work Environment The warehouse is non-climate controlled, but large fans circulate air to maintain comfort.
Expect temperatures between 80-90 degrees during summer months, with more comfortable conditions outside of summer. You will be standing and moving around throughout the day, with a designated workstation for which you will be responsible. We offer shifts on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and weekend schedules to suit your availability. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodway, TX.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.05 - $20.55/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
