Hiring a Warehouse Worker in Lansing, MI! Shift: Monday - Friday - 6:30am-3:30pm (30 minute unpaid lunch). Monday - Friday - 2:30pm-11:30pm (30 minute unpaid lunch). Monday - Friday - 10:30pm-7:30am (30 minute unpaid lunch). All Schedules Subjected to Potential Weekend Work as Needed! Responsibilities Make regular waste and trash pickups throughout the customer’s facility, including cardboard, plastic, and metal scrap materials.
Operate mobile equipment safely to move materials and waste within the plant. Move, transport, and empty trash gondolas throughout the production areas. Support general material handling activities such as packing, picking, packaging, and assembly as needed. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including moving materials to and from designated areas. Handle hazardous materials in accordance with training and safety procedures once properly trained.
Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by promptly addressing waste and debris. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
