Job Title: Wire Cutter Job Description The Wire Cutter plays a key role in supporting warehouse and data center operations by accurately pulling wire for customer orders, cutting and bundling heavy-gauge wire, and organizing spools and related materials. This role involves hands-on work with electrical cutting tools and warehouse equipment in a busy, growth-oriented environment, with training provided on order picking and warehouse processes before specializing in wire cutting.

Responsibilities Pull wire for customer orders according to specifications and ensure accuracy in length, type, and quantity. Bundle multiple heavy-gauge wires together onto new spools, including wires up to approximately 1 inch thick. Use electrical crimpers, cutters, and related machines to cut and prepare wire safely and efficiently. Organize, label, and stage spools of wire and other materials in the designated wire area.

Support occasional inventory counts and audits within the wire department to maintain accurate stock levels. Train on general order picking and warehouse operations to understand facility workflows and processes. Work at multiple warehouse locations as needed, including training at a St. Louis facility and supporting data center warehouse operations in Earth City. Safely handle and move heavy wire spools and materials, lifting up to 75 pounds independently on a frequent basis.

Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate tools and equipment when cutting, crimping, and handling wire. Assist with moving spools to and from racking, including using a forklift if trained and authorized. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area within a large warehouse environment. Communicate with team members and supervisors to prioritize orders and meet project timelines for the data center initiative.

Essential Skills Experience performing general labor in a warehouse or industrial environment. Ability to cut and handle heavy wire, including bundling multiple thick wires onto new spools. Proficiency using electrical crimpers, wire cutters, and related cutting equipment. Ability to measure wire accurately and work with basic measurement tools. Capability to lift up to 75 pounds independently on a frequent basis.

Willingness to work across multiple warehouse locations based on workload needs. Comfort working around electrical components and materials in a wire-focused department. Additional Skills & Qualifications Forklift experience is beneficial and may be used to move spools to and from racking, though it is not required. Openness to long-term employment on a multi-year data center project, with interest in growing within the organization.

Ability to learn order picking and general warehouse operations before specializing in wire cutting. Strong attention to detail when measuring, cutting, bundling, and labeling wire.
