Key Responsibilities: • Implement QA/QC activities, including surveillance of subcontractor and sub-supplier works, in accordance with approved ITPs, procedures, method statements, quality plans, and other control documents. • Prepare, complete, and sign applicable records for quality surveillance, inspections, and testing. • Conduct surveillance inspections to verify compliance with approved processes, procedures, specifications, and project requirements.

• Perform material receiving inspections to verify compliance with approved MTCs, project specifications, purchase orders, and material traceability requirements. • Conduct and witness Welding Procedure Qualification Tests (WPQT/PQR) and Welder Qualification Tests (WQT) in accordance with client specifications and applicable international standards. • Verify that welding activities are performed by qualified welders using approved WPSs and qualified welding consumables.

• Conduct fit-up, joint preparation, preheating, welding parameter, and visual inspections before, during, and after welding. • Review and verify welding records, weld maps, material traceability, consumable control records, PWHT records, and weld repair history. • Coordinate and witness Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) activities, including: o Radiographic Testing (RT) o Ultrasonic Testing (UT) o Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) o Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) o Hardness Testing • Ensure NDE activities are performed in accordance with approved procedures, project specifications, and applicable standards • Witness flange management activities and piping/pipeline hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing.

• Review welding and inspection reports and ensure all quality records are complete, accurate, and maintained as per project requirements. • Coordinate inspection activities with construction, engineering, subcontractors, third-party inspectors, and client representatives to ensure timely inspection, testing, and approval. • Verify that all measuring and inspection equipment is properly calibrated and used within its validity period.

• Ensure full compliance with approved ITPs, Method Statements, Quality Plans, project specifications, and client quality requirements. • Monitor and support the timely closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and verify implementation of appropriate corrective actions. • Issue Inspection Release Notes (IRNs) for accepted products/works and sign or verify applicable test packs and QC dossiers. • Participate in quality audits, toolbox talks, lessons learned, Right First Time (RFT) initiatives, and continual improvement programs.

• Maintain accurate inspection documentation and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports as required. • Promote a strong quality culture while ensuring compliance with HSE requirements and safe working practices during all inspection activities. Minimum Qualifications & Experience: • 8–10 years of progressive experience as a QC Welding/Piping Inspector. • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the petrochemical industry, with strong exposure to welding and piping inspection activities.

• Previous SABIC project experience is highly preferred/required. • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. • Valid and recognized welding inspection certification such as: o CSWIP 3.1 / equivalent o AWS CWI o Or another internationally recognized equivalent certification. • Strong knowledge of welding, piping, NDE, pressure testing, material traceability, and quality control requirements.

• Good knowledge of applicable international codes, standards, project specifications, and client requirements • Experience in reviewing and implementing ITPs, WPS/PQR, welder qualifications, inspection procedures, and quality documentation. • Strong communication and coordination skills with construction teams, subcontractors, third-party inspectors, and client representatives.
