You are an experienced Cost Consultant with  4-7 years of post-graduate experience  in cost planning, estimating, and cost management. You are looking to further develop your career within a collaborative and growing team, contributing to a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple sectors.

Job Description: Develop and manage cost estimates for public sector projects from concept design through procurement, construction, and project closeout. Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates, and benchmarking analyses to support project decision-making and budget validation. Analyze tender submissions and procurement outcomes to ensure competitiveness, compliance, and value for money. Participate in value engineering and cost optimization exercises, identifying cost-effective solutions while maintaining project.

Support project teams in managing cost risks, change management, forecasting, and budget control to ensure client objectives are achieved. Contribute to client presentations, cost reports, and stakeholder meetings. Qualifications Degree in  Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying , or a related field. 4-7 years of experience  in cost estimating, cost planning, or quantity surveying.

Experience preparing estimates across all project phases, from conceptual design through construction. Membership or progress toward membership with relevant professional organizations such as  CIQS, RICS, AACE , or equivalent is considered an asset. Proficiency with cost estimating software such as  CostX  or similar estimating platforms. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
