" Job Description Job Summary This role is for an Engineering Maintenance and Automation Manager, responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of critical engineering systems including Standalone PLCs, DCS, HVAC, WFI, PW, steam, and utility infrastructure. The position ensures regulatory compliance, safety adherence, and system reliability through preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
Key responsibilities include leading engineering projects, managing CAPEX budgets, coordinating with cross-functional departments, and ensuring timely execution of automation, calibration, and modification activities. The role also focuses on optimizing automation systems, driving energy efficiency, and maintaining audit readiness through robust documentation and quality management practices. " Roles & Responsibilities Handling of L2, HMI & IPC upgradation projects OSD process equipment like FBD, RMG, FBE, Compression, coating CAM packing lines and Packing handling experience required  Oversee the operation and maintenance of critical engineering systems—including Standalone PLC, DCS, HVAC, WFI, PW, and steam—to ensure continuous availability and minimal downtime.
Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and local regulations by conducting internal audits, enforcing safety protocols, and implementing effective CAPAs using tools like Why-Why analysis, Kaizens, and Poka-yoke. Lead and execute engineering and automation projects from initiation to completion, including resource planning, budget approvals, and coordination with finance and SCM for timely delivery. Maintain and optimize automation systems by identifying performance gaps, proposing improved architectures, and ensuring integration with plant operations.
