Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment, including receiving, stocking, picking, inventory management, and customer pick-up services.
This role ensures operational excellence by supervising warehouse team members to meet productivity goals while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service. Responsibilities: Team Supervision & Performance Management Supervise and monitor daily warehouse activities including receiving, stocking, picking, assembling, conditioning, inventory handling, and delivery Ensure team members meet pieces-per-hour goals while maintaining safety and quality standards Define quality and performance measures, monitor execution of strategies, and drive continuous improvement Safety & Compliance Management Implement and enforce warehouse safety and security programs and activities Conduct daily evaluations of housekeeping, security, and sanitation levels Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations and company safety rules and procedures Inspect physical conditions of warehouse and equipment, reporting maintenance, repair, or replacement needs Quality Assurance & Operational Standards Enforce standard operating procedures for picking, receiving, handling, storing, and salvaging products Conduct receiving audits and physically inspect product locations for errors or quality issues Review 6S evaluation scores to ensure sustainability of operational processes Prevent damage to product, equipment, and facilities Customer Service & Pick-Up Operations Supervise customer pick-up tasks including locating, picking, inspecting, and loading product Ensure proper conduct, presentation, and professionalism when working with customers Verify employees utilize appropriate customer service techniques to resolve needs, complaints, and issues within company guidelines Training & Employee Development Educate and mentor staff in best practices for receiving, storing, and picking products Conduct training sessions and assist with employee development programs Monitor team members' adherence to dress code and professionalism standards Inventory Management & Product Consolidation Oversee product consolidation activities Ensure accurate inventory handling and storage procedures are followed Audit product movement and location accuracy Core Values & Professional Standards Demonstrate company Core and Growth Values in all job functions Enforce day-to-day operational standards and professionalism throughout the warehouse Maintain warehouse security, cleanliness, and organization Qualifications: Education High School, Diploma or equivalent Experience 1 year working in a warehouse environment required 1-10 months of inventory control preferred 6 months of supervisory experience Work Environment:
