Position Overview: As the business continues to grow, Newland Chase’s Immigration division is going from strength to strength. This position offers the opportunity to join our well respected, award winning immigration practice.  This role will allow you to work within, and learn from, a busy team of experienced and knowledgeable professionals who are from a combination of law firms, world renowned global immigration consultancies, ex-Government bodies and specific industry backgrounds.  This is an exciting chance to develop your career and have the autonomy to manage client and government relationships, working at the forefront of new and developing immigration policies and practices whilst providing first class service.    Duties will include but will not be limited to:   Provide expertise on Dutch Immigration laws Manage all aspects of corporate immigration applications    Responsible for managing own casework, advice to clients and general service delivery Remain abreast of all relevant rules, laws and best practice affecting the company’s core activities Actively participating in knowledge sharing within the company Ensure that all enquiries and service agreements are dealt with in line with agreed service standards Management of client expectations  Participate in client meetings/training  Participate in business development activities Update Newland Chase technology platforms in accordance with firm policies  Participate in global training programmes and any client specific training  Perform any “administrative” tasks as requested by the Team Leader/Manager as needed Participate in any global or local ad-hoc projects Any other activities necessary to support the Newland Chase practice in The Netherlands   Person Specification (E = essential, D = desirable)  Dutch and English: very good skills (oral and written) – E Very good MS Office and general computer user proficiency – E Service mentality – E Bachelor degree or equivalent by experience – E  1-year Immigration or Global Mobility Advisory experience – D  Proven ability to research, identify, analyse and interpret information from a range of sources and develop an appropriate solution - E Proven ability to work as part of a team - E Proven ability to undertake work on a project basis – E Able to demonstrate a positive and flexible attitude to work, particularly new initiatives - E Proven ability to manage a diverse and varied workload – E Proven ability to maintain a clear overview of the key issues and prioritise effectively - E Proven ability to influence effectively and sensitively – E   Key Competencies  Planning and organising  Working with people  Leading and Supervising  Deciding and Initiating action  Achieving personal work goals and objectives  Adapting and responding to change  Coping with pressures and setbacks  Persuading and influencing    About Us CIBT is a leading global provider of immigration and visa services for corporations and individuals, operating in 25 countries worldwide.
