The Meetings Management Consultant (MMC T1)) is responsible for providing strategic recommendations, implementations, and ongoing maintenance of client's M&E technology platform, most frequently Cvent. There are 3 main areas of focus: Consulting & Project Management, System Maintenance & Governance, and Technology Implementations. The MMC also advises and implements business process/workflow automation, optimizes current technology uses, and recommends solutions for better technology adoption. This role interfaces directly with client’s and their stakeholders and could include troubleshooting, user training, and issue resolution. The MMCs often acts as an internal and external SME on M&E technology platforms and support sales and marketing activities.
What you will do here: Consulting & Project Management Manage and maintain positive client relationships Nurture existing client relationships to generate new opportunities to expand the account Manage or oversee multiple projects effectively Act as strategic advisor to clients, recommending solutions that align with their priorities and business needs Support projects for clients seeking assistance with Cvent implementations, optimization, and SMMP initiatives Support enhancements or innovations of new SOP’s for strategic initiatives Recommend automation enhancements to create process efficiencies and adoption Prepare and present consulting deliverables such as proposals, business cases, deployment plans, meeting agendas, labor/time reports, SWOT analyses, RACI charts, and ROI estimates, as necessary to support client and business requirements Coordinate meetings between client, internal, and/or technology providers Engineer workflow and business processes; diagramming in Visio Act as liaison with tech providers to keep current on new features and releases; convey information to relevant stakeholders Identify opportunities for new or expanded ISG service offerings (including opportunities for M&IW strategic partners) Self-manage through difficult situations and projects pulling in ISG resources as necessary Work with other teams on strategic projects as necessary Technology Implementations Partner with Lead Project Manager on all aspects of the project Provide Cvent configuration and testing support of M&IW’s and clients’ Cvent accounts Consolidate and organize deliverables necessary for implementation Act as liaison between the client stakeholder team and Cvent Consolidate and organize deliverables necessary for implementation Support user training or to be part of ‘train the trainer’ program Support the development & execution of a technology roll-out communication plan System Maintenance and Governance Responsible for overall system "wellness" and maintenance Manage process automation gatekeeping (Ex: Back-end status changes, voiding MRFs, etc.) User management: Add and delete users, manage user permissions and visibility, monitor user access, usage and behaviors, manage available logins/seats Act as company ‘Power-User’ responsible for user adoption Provide training & support on the way the client uses Cvent and other applicable best practices Respond to user inquiries requiring client-specific account and process expertise, troubleshooting, or issue escalation/resolution SMM related system maintenance and routine updates/edits: Meeting Request Form (MRF), Event Portal, calendars, custom fields, workflow automation (triggers, notifications, statuses, etc.) Sourcing (CSN), Event Management and Survey Module enterprise settings and template (Event, RFP, Survey) management/maintenance Enterprise reporting support: Recommend data accuracy and integrity practices (Ex: Audit and spot check data), assist in creating enterprise-level reports, and clean-up/organization of saved reports (Ex: Establishing report naming conventions, removing unused reports) Maintain any existing
