Learn more at  www.axiawh.com . We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate  Pelvic Floor Specialist (DPT) to join our Obstetrics & Gynecology practice  part time, 20 hours/week .

Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals seeking specialized care and support for pelvic health.  Locations:  Florham Park, NJ, Hoboken, and Warren NJ Hours: Mon-Fri Variable. No Weekends. ➤ Stronger Integration with Women's Health Care   Direct Collaboration with OB/GYN physicians, nurse practitioners, midwives and other women's health specialists.

Ability to participate in comprehensive treatment plans for patients dealing with pregnancy, postpartum recovery, pelvic pain, prolapse, incontinence, endometriosis, and sexual health concerns. More seamless communication with referring providers, leading to better continuity of care and patient outcomes.  ➤ Access to a Dedicated Pelvic Health Patient Population Consistent flow of patients specifically seeking women's health and pelvic floor services.

Less time spent treating general orthopedic conditions and more opportunity to specialize in pelvic health. Ability to build expertise in complex women's health cases that may not be as common in a traditional PT practice. ➤ Improved Patient Compliance and Outcomes   Easier coordination of appointments and follow-up care. Faster intervention for issues identified during routine gynecologic, prenatal, or postpartum visits.

➤ Collaborative and Mission-Driven Environment Working with providers who share a common focus on women's health. Feeling like an integral part of a healthcare team rather than operating as a separate service line. Opportunity to contribute to preventive care and long-term quality of life for patients. Opportunity for provider training. The  Pelvic Floor Specialist  works on-site in collaboration with our provider team and performs comprehensive evaluations and develops individualized treatment plans for patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, prenatal/postpartum musculoskeletal complaints, post-surgical rehabilitation, and sexual pain disorders.

Pelvic Floor Therapy   Evaluates and treats pelvic floor dysfunction (e.g., incontinence, pelvic organ prolapses, pelvic pain). Addresses both hypertonic (overactive) and hypotonic (underactive) pelvic floor issues. Utilizes manual therapy, neuro-muscular re-education, and therapeutic exercise. Prenatal and Postpartum Care   Designs safe, tailored exercise and rehabilitation programs for pregnant and postpartum patients.

Helps manage pregnancy-related conditions, (e.g., Diastasis recti, low back pain and pelvic girdle pain, Sciatica, and C-section recovery). Educates patients on proper body mechanics, posture, and breathing techniques. Pain Management   Treats chronic pelvic pain, vulvodynia, dyspareunia (pain with intercourse), and interstitial cystitis. Integrates pain neuroscience education with manual therapy and graded movement.
