Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

The position will initially begin   part-time , with the opportunity to increase hours and potentially develop into a   full-time caseload   as demand grows.   We are looking for a provider who values clinical autonomy, collaboration, and high-quality psychiatric care and who is interested in growing alongside an expanding behavioral health practice.

  What You'll Do Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments. Provide ongoing psychiatric medication management and follow-up care. Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications within scope of practice. Develop individualized treatment recommendations based on clinical presentation and diagnosis. Monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, adherence, and overall clinical progress.

Complete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation. Coordinate care with therapists, behavioral health staff, primary care providers, and other members of the client's treatment team when appropriate. Provide education to clients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment options, and symptom management. Maintain appropriate follow-up schedules and continuity of psychiatric care.

Follow applicable Arizona regulations, professional standards, and organizational policies.   What We're Looking For Current and unrestricted   Arizona APRN license . Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner ( PMHNP ) certification. Current prescribing authority as required for the position. Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate credentialing with contracted insurance plans. Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management. Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team. Experience working with children and adolescents is highly desirable.
