Louis office-based team members Gym membership reimbursement for project-based team members Corporate office cafeteria access Employee Resource Group (ERG) opportunities Philanthropy opportunities   POSITION SUMMARY The Quality Technician interfaces with engineering, construction, management, clients and clients’ inspectors on quality and welding related concerns at project sites and/or Hillsdale Fabricators Shop.  The Quality Technician also utilizes Alberici’s Quality Programs which includes the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), and other related programs as necessary to monitor the quality of projects.

Implements quality assurance/quality control programs for the Company. Reviews owner, manufacturer and engineering quality requirements and applies them to the project. Manages Quality Document submittals for projects, including subcontractors. Manages project specific quality documents (dimensional checks, inspection reports and other various quality related documents). Supports planning, development and implementation of vendor surveillance activities for procured items.

Arranges for third party inspection service for bolting, welding, nondestructive testing, and others as may be required. Interfaces with third party inspection services per client inspection requirements. Develops and implements electronic welding procedures for the Company (various AWS Codes), including writing WPSs, PQRs, and Welder Certifications. Certifies welders per AWS (American Welding Society) and CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) Codes and maintains their certifications according to same Code.

Develops and maintains a welder continuity program for both AWS and CWB. Performs inspections/t
