Radiology Tech - Day Shift

Radiology Tech Position Details: Full-Time Position  4 x 10 hours shifts 10:00am - 6:30pm  Radiology Tech credentials required  MRI, Mammography and Ultrasound credentials preferred but not required - CROSS TRAINING AVAILABLE  Qualifications:  Arranges patients for radiological examinations Produces radiographs (x-rays) to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems Prevents patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job Works under immediate supervision A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager Qualifications: Associate's degree from an accredited program required; bachelor's degree preferred Registration as a technologist by the A.R.R.T.

required License to practice in the state of Kentucky is required  Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field Experience preferred MRI, Mammography and Ultrasound registration preferred but not required - Cross training available  Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package.
