JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director of Reliability, this position provides training in reliability practices, processes, systems, and tools that minimize failures, improve performance, and optimize the reliability and availability of assets. This position provides a foundation for the candidate to advance to other available positions throughout the company, based on availability. New graduates and candidates with 0-5 years of experience in an industrial setting will be considered.
Experience in manufacturing is preferred. The position may also be filled through a staffing agency with the potential for permanent placement. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (not all inclusive): • Adaptive and responsive to changing priorities and committed to providing timely and accurate results. • Actively engage with colleagues and managers to understand goals, requirements, and timelines.
• Contribute to a safe, injury-free work environment • Domestic travel, up to 50%, to plants and training. • Gather and document reliability data: Collect reliability data from various sources, including SAP, computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), corporate systems, root cause analyses, and maintenance records to assist in identifying patterns, trends, and areas of concern.
• Develop reports to support recommendations for design modifications, process changes, or maintenance strategies to improve product reliability, prevent failures, and enhance overall system performance. • Serve as a contact for reliability-related process, systems, and tools while facilitating effective communication and collaboration between maintenance, operations, engineering, and other relevant teams.
• Support documentation and communication of reliability process flows, standard operating procedures, and work instructions. • Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and optimizing maintenance strategies. Identifying opportunities for process improvements, recommending solutions, and assisting in their implementation.
QUALIFICATIONS: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial management, or a related field. • Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred. • Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and teamwork across different departments and levels of the organization. • Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication, with an understanding of planning and work organization.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office. • A hands-on mindset with a can-do attitude is necessary with the ability and willingness to work in a dusty environment. • Strong commitment to safety and the ability to maintain an orderly and safe workplace. • Ability to consistently work in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation with all internal, as well as external, constituents.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Competitive Salary, with a general salary range of $ 50,688.00 to $63,360.00 or higher depending on education and experience.
