Welder

Welder is responsible for and shall be held accountable for the performance of all assigned duties.  This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this position.  He/She is required to perform any other directly related appropriate duties directed by his/her supervisor. Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting work Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together.

Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints. Maintain all assigned equipment. Assist with process and finishing when needed. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.   Required Skills/Experience: High school diploma or the equivalent 1 – 3 years welding or completed creditable welding courses. Attention to detail. Proficient in measurements Excellent verbal communication skills.

Able to work independently or in a team environment.
