About the Position: The incumbent will serve as a Financial Technician at the Naval Health Clinic Annapolis in Maryland, providing support in accounting, budgeting, and financial management. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Major duties: Manage full cycle of accounts payable/account receivable, ensuring strict compliance with applicable regulations.,Maintain and reconcile detailed financial ledgers/files to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations, procedures and federal budgeting/fiscal laws.,Perform time and attendance duties, which include validating and processing data, correcting errors, assisting employees with pay inquiries.,Contribute to development, implementation of internal controls and audit ready environment for accounting and payroll.,Ensure consistent adherence to all contract requirements through close collaboration/support for the Contracting Officer Representatives.
