Major duties: As an IT Specialist (INFOSEC) - Direct Hire Authority some of your typical work assignments include: Analyzing policies and practices for the development and implementation of protection mechanisms for the cybersecurity of energy infrastructure necessary for reliable interconnected national power system.

Participating in cybersecurity architecture assessments, open-source information assessments, and exercises. Developing presentations, assessing applicability of different cybersecurity frameworks, and analyzing cybersecurity events relating or tangential to jurisdictional energy infrastructure. Supporting and developing technical analysis for the Office Director, front office, and management, especially on issues of energy infrastructure security.

Thoroughly analyzing and technically reviewing events, and issues supporting the Commission on problems and situations arising in the energy industry, including those involving energy infrastructure cybersecurity Identifying emerging security requirements and issues and providing technical support on cybersecurity as it affects energy infrastructure and critical assets Education: There is no education requirement for this position; therefore, transcripts are not required.
