This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Health Technology and Products (OHTP). As a IT Specialist (SYS/ANALYSIS), GS-2210-12, you will serve as a Technical Product Designer within OHTP and is responsible for designing, developing, and iterating on digital products and services. Major duties: Develop, implement, and/or oversee a variety of complex IT projects to develop, modify, or enhance a product, service, or system.,Facilitate the end-to-end design of digital products and services, encompassing the full spectrum of user experience and product development activities.,Collaborate closely with software engineers and enterprise architects to ensure that design solutions are technically sound and aligned with enterprise architecture standards, infrastructure constraints, and system integration requirements.,Analyze research findings to influence product and service development, evaluating a range of qualitative and quantitative metrics using frameworks centered on user needs, resource prioritization, and program management.,Participate in inter- and intra-agency working groups, contributing technical design expertise and activities, serving as a knowledgeable and credible technical voice in collaborative forums.
