About the Position: This position is located at Irwin Army Community Hospital, Fort Riley, Kansas. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Major duties: Perform all aspects of medical billing and claim management.,Review insurance claims to identify any problems that could not be resolved by system edits.,Provide input to the manager for analytical and evaluative methods to improve the medical billing process.,Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly and quarterly reports submitted for insurance reimbursement.,Receives and responds to a wide variety of correspondence.
Education: FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S.
