About the Position: The incumbent serves as a Mortuary Affairs Coordinator carrying out all phases of mortuary services and assistance for the Casualty Assistance Center (CAC). Major duties: Present briefs to senior leads, military teams, and families.,Inspects deceased service member remains.,Serves as purchase card holder and is responsible for ensuring the government purchase card statement are reconciled and annotated monthly in accordance with regulations.,Serves as a member of a disaster response team in the search, recovery, evacuation, and identification of remains at an accident site.,Responds to oral and written inquiries from family members, congressional personnel as well as government and non-government agencies pertaining to the care and disposition of remains.,Orders, receives, and maintains accountability of interment flags, flag cases, forms, and mass casualty supplies.
Education: FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S.
