As a Program Manager GS-0340-15, you will be responsible for: Overseeing and directing program evaluation and quality assurance functions to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies to ensure overall program effectiveness and efficiency.

Supervising directing, coordinating, and overseeing the programs, functions, and initiatives performed by a staff of subordinate supervisors or team leaders and the professional, administrative, technical, and support staff of the organization. Directing the development and implementation of agency policies and procedures, business processes, and new or revised system requirements resulting from new or modified organization or agency programs, systems and initiatives.

Providing authoritative technical advice and guidance to senior management on the analysis of program effectiveness and efficiency, and associated policies and procedures. Overseeing the development and implementation of automated and integrated systems, policies, procedures, and projects in support of the effective and efficient planning and management of the assigned programs and functions. Requirements: The U.S.

Department of Education (ED) has interagency agreements (IAAs) with other agencies to ensure efficient delivery of funded programs and activities, and move closer to fulfilling the President's promise to return education to the states. Employees may receive detail assignments to these agencies in support of the IAAs). Condition of Employment: As a condition of employment for accepting this position, you may be required to serve a probationary period or trial period during which we will evaluate your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest.
