You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in either the WXMRL or WXMRM section of the Electromagnetic Spectrum Warfare Department (WX), Maritime Electromagnetic Warfare Systems Division (WXM) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The full performance level of NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14.
Major duties: You will serve as a section manager for either the Sustainment Operations Section (WXMRL) or the Sustainment Support Section (WXMRM) within the Sustainment Engineering Branch (WXMR).,You will provide inputs to the Branch Manager in regards to the resourcing and performance of employees.,You will provide inputs and facilitate processes to maintain cost, schedule, and performance in order to meet Fleet and Program Office needs.,You will review and evaluate section metrics to identify trends and assess continuous improvement opportunities.,You will work with the WXM management team to identify and communicate issues.,You will work closely with the Branch Manager on strategic initiatives to meet changing workloads and demands.,You will work with Division Management to provide inputs to Data Calls.,You will work with employees on development plans and training opportunities to maximize the workforce.,You will provide Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO) for effecting and implementing EEO policy within your area of cognizance and responsibility.,You will work with employees on development plans and training opportunities to maximize workforce
