Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (Policy and Planning)

About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Major duties: Support senior commanders in coordination with the Signal Brigade and 7th Signal Command (Theater) to manage Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Information Management (C4IM) services.,Serve as a Stand Alone Network Enterprise Center (SANEC) Director to lead in C4 Information Management and Information Technology (C4IM/IT) programs.,Coordinate with the Signal Brigade to execute and track all Network Enterprise Center (NEC) budget commitments to ensure compliance with federal fiscal deadlines and regulations.,Direct the installation’s Career Program (CP-34) to facilitate career progression and professional development Education: Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
