Administration Coordinator – Drive for Life Youth Services | Kalgoorlie SCHADS Level 4 | Full ‑ time Why this role matters For many young people, getting a driver’s licence is something they take for granted. For others, it is the difference between securing a job, attending education, connecting with family, accessing support services or simply believing in their future. The Drive for Life Program supports young people aged 16–25 who may have experienced hardship, instability or barriers that make this milestone feel out of reach.
Every learner driver who joins our program has a story. Some have faced homelessness, family breakdown, financial pressure or social isolation. Achieving their licence can be a turning point that opens doors to independence, confidence and opportunity. As the Administration Coordinator, you will be the organisational heart of the Drive for Life Program. Through structured coordination, clear communication and strong administration, you will help create the environment where young people feel supported, instructors and volunteers feel confident and the program runs smoothly.
This is more than an administrative role. It is a chance to help young people change the direction of their lives. About the role You will coordinate the day-to-day delivery of the Drive for Life Program, managing referrals, scheduling lessons with driving instructors and volunteers, building program resources, maintaining accurate records and ensuring reporting requirements are met.
You will build strong relationships with participants, volunteers, schools, community partners and support services, promoting the program and contributing to its growth. This role suits someone who loves organisation, communication and creating meaningful impact through structured program coordination. You will not be required to provide driving instruction. Instead, you will ensure the program is delivered safely, consistently and with care.
This permanent full-time position sits within the Youth Services team, reporting to the Program Manager. Pay is in accordance with a SCHADS Level 4. How you will make an impact Coordinate the administration and operational delivery of the Drive for Life Program Schedule and organise driving lessons with driving instructors and manage program logistics Manage participant referrals, caseload progress and program documentation Build strong partnerships with community agencies and stakeholders Recruit, onboard and support volunteers Maintain accurate records, reports and data collection Monitor KPIs and ensure compliance with program requirements Promote the program through community engagement and local events Contribute to continuous improvement and local process development What you will bring Strong administration and organisational skills Confidence managing multiple priorities and coordinating moving parts Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with people from all backgrounds A warm, respectful and culturally responsive approach Ability to support volunteers through onboarding, training and ongoing guidance Experience working collaboratively with community organisations or stakeholders Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and general administrative systems WA Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain Current WA manual driver’s licence
