Job Description: Airbus Defence and Space is looking for Airbus Military Derivatives Technical Manager (f/m) to join our chief engineering and technical team based in Toulouse, France. To achieve this, we are currently looking for several Technical Managers. Your Challenges: As a member of our chief engineering/technical team, activities will include coordination of engineering CoCs and their interfaces with other functions, including Programs, Operations and Services supporting the Chief Engineer. Y ou will develop and perform the following challenging tasks and concurrence activities: Aircraft Technical Specification preparation/updates.
Preparation of the Program Development Plan: defining planning and technical reviews. Preparation of program Work Order. Preparation and coordination of the design technical reviews. Coordination of the documentation for development, certification and qualification. Discussion and agreement with the CoC of any issue in relation with the compliance of the technical requirements. System and Subsystem Specifications verification to ensure their compliance with the program requirements.
Provide hypothesis and inputs for the preparation of the ME Budget of the program. Inputs for the Certification and Qualification Plans. Support to the Operations Function in any technical query regarding aircraft modification and system/equipment installation. Support to Services Function in their activities for the program. Coordination of ground and flight tests. Coordination of Engineering Activities in relation with Airbus for the implementation of modifications in the Green Aircraft.
Continuously monitoring progress, ensuring timely resolution of the technical issues and that the technical team provide on-time, on-quality and on-cost deliverables to the program. Support various stakeholders with technical knowledge (e.g. Industrial partner, supply chain and office, quality, purchasing, manufacturing engineering, production and assembly, M&P, stress analysis, Chief Engineer, Architecture and Integration, Airworthiness and Certification,…).
Your Profile: Abilities, skills and competencies: As a successful candidate, you should be able to demonstrate the following abilities, skills and competences with proved experience: Engineer wi
