In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of the investment process, from sourcing and screening potential targets, to conducting due diligence and valuation, to closing transactions and monitoring portfolio companies. THE OPPORTUNITY The   Analyst/ Associate plays an integral role in evaluating and supporting primarily direct private equity investments and select fund commitments to strategic partners.

They have a key role in investment strategy development and work within deal teams to evaluate investment opportunities and present recommendations to the investment committee. This work includes rigorous analysis, sophisticated financial modeling, and collaboration with outside professionals such as strategic partners, investment bankers, consultants, and lawyers to prepare investment committee materials, conduct due diligence and support deal execution.

Following an investment, the   Analyst/ Associate   remains   involved with portfolio companies by monitoring performance and   supporting management or strategic partners on value-creation initiatives, such as follow-on M&A,   financings   and strategic initiatives. WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH The Private Equity department manages a diverse   global   portfolio of approximately $ 36   billion in global private equity investments   comprising   of fund, direct and co-investments.

Portfolio growth over the coming years will be driven by an increased emphasis on direct investment, strong partner   relationships   and actively creating value from the portfolio to deliver superior returns for our clients. Our department currently consists of ~ 65   professionals spanning offices   located   in Victoria,   London   and New York City, organized into six sub-teams: Direct Investments, Fund Investments, Venture & Growth,   Portfolio Performance , Reporting & Analytics, and Operations.

Our Direct Investments team can be further broken down into six sector-focused teams that cover the   Financial and   Business Services, Consumer, Healthcare, Industrials, Technology, Media & Communications   and Capital Solutions .
